Tokyo Calling

To anyone visiting or living in Tokyo.Serious readers/fans/translators of SF/F seek cooperations from English speaking pro/semipro SF/F activists. We seek;

1 Participants of panels at SF seminar in Tokyo, May 3rd, 2006 and 2007.

2 Helps for publishing project of Japanese SF in English.

3 Any constructive advice to build a good and meaningful relationship of international SF community.

SF Seminar is a Tokyo local convention of serious readers, often held on May 3rd, with about 100 attendants. We discuss a lot of things, and of course, do parties, too. In the prospect of Nippon 2007 Worldcon in Yokohama, we're now starting bilingual panels and publishing projects in English. But first of all, we have to find some participants in our panels. As we lack the badget, we cannot pay the flight tickets. So anybody in Tokyo area on that particular date with a decent thing about our genre is welcome. Plese participate.
And aren't you interested in our SF/F novels and stories. Ours is not just manga and anime, nor Haruki Murakami, who is not of our genre, in the first place.
If you're intereseted in my personal view on the current SF scene, see my Strange Horizons interview.
Any opinion and advice is welcome.
